Join us for the 2019 Kentucky Chapter – American College of Cardiology (KYACC) Annual Meeting and Scientific Session. This is an excellent opportunity for cardiovascular healthcare providers to get together for an annual update and learn more about topics relevant to cardiovascular medicine. This program is designed for physicians, cardiac care associates, cardiovascular pharmacists, echo sonographers or other practitioners with an emphasis on current practice trends within cardiovascular medicine.

Pre-Conference Events - Friday, October 11, 2019

Practice Management Session: This educational session will focus on avoiding the pitfalls of fraud and abuse in a professional setting, discussing what physicians need to know to avoid unintentionally committing fraud and abuse. This session will also touch on updates within the KBML and how will it affect your practice.

Quality Dinner: KY-ACC’s Quality Coalition facilitates the statewide exchange of information and knowledge to improve patient outcomes in Kentucky. To that end, KY-ACC is pleased to host the Third Annual Quality Summit and Dinner on Friday, October 11, 2019. Registration information to come – please check back on our website for more details.

Honorable Maestro

Jesse Adams, MD, FACC is an adult cardiologist with Baptist Health in Louisville. He was the lead author on the original clinical validation studies for cardiac troponin I and has published numerous scientific papers as well as editing two textbooks on markers in cardiology. He has served as the president of the Kentuckiana Metro chapter of the American Heart Association. He also has served in numerous roles and committees with the American College of Cardiology, including Governor for the Kentucky chapter. He currently serves on the Executive Council for the CV Management Section of the ACC and is chair of the CV management Section’s Publication Writing Group.
