New Year Welcomes ACC Public Reporting Program Updates

The College recently expanded its public reporting program to include data from the Chest Pain - MI Registry™. For the first time since the program launched in 2015 with the CathPCI Registry® and ICD Registry™, hospitals can now publicly report data from three NCDR registries. To date, over 700 hospitals around the country have opted in to the program and are reporting data on ACC’s Find Your Heart a Home tool, powered by NCDR and CardioSmart. Plus, now it’s easier than ever to search, compare and select NCDR hospitals. The refreshed Find Your Heart a Home tool has improved navigation and a separate section for Hospitals with in-depth hospital data and reports. Is your hospital publicly reporting? The updated public reporting communications toolkit makes it easy for participating hospitals to showcase how they are improving the quality of cardiovascular care. If your hospital is listed as “not participating,” encourage your leadership and Registry Site Manager to opt-in. Learn more about ACC’s public reporting program.
